Those messages are great! Why do we put up with such bad tools though? Adobe seem to aim for as much functionality as possible, but they seem to forget it isn't functional if it always crashes...

Not sure about stack traces, but certainly a meaningful error would be nice.

I'd bet it's implemented in C++.

Actually, you don't have to specify an e-mail address to sumbit a report. It's meant to be a feature so that you don't accidentally mess up your e-mail not a spam filter, but they got the reg exp wrong.

Unknown Error is very unprofessional. It'd be nice to at least have the full stack trace. I like stack traces. Even non-technical users can look at them and have some idea of what's going on. They also help make the problem searchable. More importantly, how would THEY improve their software or support users if peoople tell them they're getting "Unknown Error"! I wonder what language they used to implement it. Maybe they are using error codes and some function is returning some weird number.....

The testing part, to be fair to them, there are different container formats, different codecs, tons of export settings, etc. So I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few (or maybe more than a few!) combinations they just didn't bother to test.

The email validation is funny. Is there really any spammer out there who has time to deliberately crash Adobe Premiere for the sole purpose of sending spam through crash reports?
